The Food We Grow

Since 2012, we’ve been growing and selling organic produce, flowers, fruits & herbs in Fauquier County using sustainable methods. Our three acres field consists of over thirty different varieties of everything from heirloom tomatoes, to fresh salad mixes, to unique watermellon varieties. We grow using intensive planting, integrated pest managment, low-tech but effecient planting & cultivating pracitices, always putting food quality and soil health first.

Our field provides product for our two main activities; First and foremost, our 15-week CSA (what is a CSA? Click here) that provides healthy, sustainable and delicious produce for our members, available as a weekly pickup at our market & taproom.

Secondly, it provides unique and interesting flavors for our brewing operations, also located on the farm and available for on-site consumption in our taproom. Our small-scale brewing operation brews a different recipe each week, connecting that week’s harvest to the brewing process.

We feature Virginia-grown barley in most of our recipes as well, and will partner with other local farmers on special projects.
